Martina Hingis was courtside for the final of the WTA Tour event at Eastbourne, watching her fellow Swiss Belinda Bencic play Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska.

Bencic, who is coached by Hingis' mother Melanie Molitor, was playing in the third final of her nascent pro career.

Aged 18 years and 109 days, Bencic triumphed in three sets to become the youngest winner on the women's circuit since Caroline Wozniacki in 2008.

Former world No. 2 Radwanska had been hoping to win her first tournament since August 2014.

Hingis and doubles partner Sania Mirza (left) lost in the semifinals at Eastbourne against Caroline Garcia and Katarina Srebotnik, who would go on to win the title.
