
Norwich City and Middlesbrough faced off in the Championship Playoff final at Wembley Stadium in London Monday.

A crowd touching 90,000 attended the match which is widely regarded as one of the richest in world football given it offers entry into the lucrative English Premier League. The victors could earn as much as $200 million over the course of next season, according to accountancy firm Deloitte.

Cameron Jerome opened the scoring for Norwich before Nathan Redmond doubled the Canaries advantage moments later.

Norwich went on to win the game 2-0 and ensure its fans will be visiting the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United next season while Middlesbrough will remain in the Championship.
