Daniel Ricciardo is no stranger to the taste of Formula One's champagne after two victories in his first year driving for Red Bull Racing.

The Australian made his F1 debut with the now defunct Hispania team in 2011, with a best finish of 18th in 11 starts.

He spent two years with the junior Red Bull team Toro Rosso before signing off, as shown here, at the 2013 Brazilian Grand Prix.

He made a dream start to his Red Bull career as he crossed the line in second place at his home race in Australia, only to see his result scrapped because of a fuel-flow problem with the car.

Ricciardo won the first race of his F1 career at the 2014 Canadian Grand Prix after making a series of impressive moves through the field.

He demonstrated more of his skills in Hungary, making the most of safety-car interruptions to win his second race of 2014.

Sebastian Vettel was Ricciardo's teammate at Red Bull until the German moved to Ferrari at the end of last season.

Twenty-year-old Daniil Kvyat of Russia subsequently joined the team, ensuring Ricciardo's promotion to No.1 driver.

Ricciardo bettered Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen by less than 0.1 seconds to set the fastest time on the second day of F1 pre-season testing in Barcelona in February.

The Australian has a huge home following -- pictured are fans with Ricciardo at last year's race in Melbourne -- and he plans to use their support once again this Sunday.
