Brilliant Bangladesh —
Bangladesh bowler Rubel Hossain celebrates dismissing England's last batsman, James Anderson, to seal a famous victory that saw his side through to the quarterfinals of the cricket World Cup. Defeat confirmed England's exit before the group stage has even finished.

Century man —
Bangladesh had posted a total of 275/7 in its 50 overs at the Adelaide Oval, Mahmudullah becoming the first man to score a century for his country at the World Cup.

Stumped —
Hossain also dismissed England captain Eoin Morgan for 0 as it stuttered in the early stages of its reply. Only a fine knock from Jos Buttler kept England in the game, but once he was out for 65, the writing was on the wall.

History makers —
The final wicket sparked wild scenes of celebration as Bangladesh confirmed its place in the last eight of the competition.

Jumping for joy —
Bangladesh's famous victory saw them qualify for the knockout stages of the competition for the first time ever. England, on the other hand, haven't made it past the quarterfinal stage since 1992 and are yet to claim a World Cup title since the competition was created in 1975.

Back to the drawing board —
England captain Morgan and coach Peter Moores must now go back to the drawing board, with their side repeatedly criticized for being too negative, and too reliant on statistics in its approach. The absence of one of its greatest ever one-day players -- Kevin Pietersen -- will also be re-examined after he was sacked in 2014.
