Champion play —
Tiger Woods produced some stunning approach play during his second round 63 in Turkey.

Bridging the gap —
Ahead of the Turkish Open, Woods took time out to do something which had never been done before. The world No. 1 was to strike a drive across the Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul, thus becoming the first golfer to hit a golf ball from Europe to Asia. Istanbul is renowned as a transcontinental city.

Show stopper —
Police agreed to stop traffic on one side of the bridge for 30 minutes, with many catching a glimpse of 14-time major winner Woods as they drove across the Bosphorus.

No pressure, Tiger... —
Wherever the world's most famous golfer goes, a troop of cameramen and journalists are bound to follow. If Woods was feeling under pressure ahead of his historic drive, he wasn't showing it.

A swing into history —
A practice swing for Woods ahead of the main event. "To be the first golfer to do this was very cool," said Woods ahead of the inaugural European Tour event in Turkey.

Choppy departure —
After a successful tee shot Woods departed via helicopter ahead of the main event at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal course in Belek, Antalya.
