Peter Burn is an editor with the National News Hub in Atlanta, editing digital stories and breaking news coverage of national events.
Prior to joining CNN, he was the city editor at the Montgomery Advertiser in Montgomery, Alabama. Before moving to the United States from the United Kingdom, he covered news and sports as a reporter and editor for a national news agency and several regional radio stations and newspapers.
During his career with CNN, he has written and edited the network’s coverage of major national and international events, including the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, in 2022.
He holds an honors degree in English and Politics from Lancaster University.
