About

Jane Sit is a Supervising Producer for CNN’s Global Features team, based at the network’s Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong. She produces premium multiplatform feature content from the region across a variety of subjects, including travel, culture, technology, the environment, and business.

Previously, she produced CNN Film School, a digital video series exploring the art of visual storytelling through film and other crafts.

She oversaw CNN’s global Call to Earth initiative, the network’s commitment to helping create a sustainable future and turn the tide on critical environmental issues including climate change and deforestation.

Sit also served as producer of Talk Asia, the monthly half-hour interview program which featured a roster of high profile guests including South Korean President Moon Jae-in, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, NFL quarterback Tom Brady, and actor Gong Yoo.

Sit joined CNN in 2011, writing for primetime news and business programs “News Stream” and “World Business Today.”

She graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism and minors in political science and management. She also holds a Juris Doctor degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong Law School.
