Chris Dolce is a meteorologist on CNN’s weather and climate team covering extreme weather and its intersection with the climate crisis.

Dolce joined CNN after spending more than 20 years at The Weather Channel and weather.com, where he was involved in a wide range of activities, including producing weather content for broadcast television and writing forecast articles and other weather-related content for weather.com.

Chris enjoys forecasting weather from around the world and explaining the “why” behind many other fascinating weather phenomena.

Raised in the Atlanta area, he graduated from the atmospheric science program at the University of Georgia.
