Andy Rose is a News Desk Reporter based at the CNN Newshub based in Atlanta. He writes stories for CNN Digital and coordinates newsgathering efforts on breaking news – gathering facts, interviewing sources, and reviewing official documents.
Andy joined CNN in 2007 as a radio anchor and editor, writing and delivering twice-hourly newscasts. He was part of CNN’s Peabody Award-winning coverage of the 2010 Gulf oil spill and the 2008 presidential election. He also worked for CNN Newsource, the network’s affiliate services group, coordinating with hundreds of US television stations on reporting and video.
Before joining CNN, Andy worked as a reporter and anchor at several local stations in Kentucky and Georgia. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Kentucky.
