Veronica Stracqualursi is a Capitol Hill producer for CNN.
She previously was a campaign embed with CNN covering the 2024 presidential election. She was based in Iowa for the 2024 Iowa caucuses and later deployed to the battleground state of Arizona.
Stracqualursi also covered the 2022 midterm elections from Wisconsin, where she reported on the state’s US Senate and gubernatorial races.
She started at CNN as a breaking news writer for CNN Politics. She wrote extensively about the White House, Congress, federal agencies, the issue of abortion, the Equal Rights Amendment and gun legislation.
Prior to joining CNN, Stracqualursi worked as a production assistant for ABC News.
Stracqualursi grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
