Rosanne (Rose) Roobeek is the Supervising Producer of CNN International’s Planning Unit, based in London.

She manages the team responsible for planning and booking guests for several of the network’s flagship shows, including Connect the World, One World, and Isa Soares Tonight.

Prior to this, she worked as a guest producer on CNN’s flagship business show Quest Means Business, where she booked high level CEOs for interviews in the studio and in the field, including at the World Economic Forum Annual Meetings in Davos.

Since joining CNN in 2015, Roobeek has worked on a number of key breaking news events, including the UK’s Brexit referendum, the 2016 US presidential election, multiple terror attacks, the coronavirus pandemic, the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, the war in Ukraine and the Israel-Hamas war.

She has also played a key role in CNN’s royal coverage, working to secure guest coverage for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the coronation of King Charles III.

Roobeek is originally from Amsterdam, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University College Utrecht and a Master’s degree in International Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, and a Master’s in International Journalism, both from City University in London.
