Rosanna Philpott is a producer for CNN’s Global Features Team, based at the network’s Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong. She creates multi-platform content, covering topics ranging from cutting-edge technology to travel. In 2024, Rosanna led the production of CNN’s flagship monthly business show, Marketplace Asia, exploring macro-economic business trends in the Asia-Pacific region with some of its most notable founders, leaders and CEOs.
Previously, Rosanna worked as an on-camera field reporter for the Reuters TV app in London, covering a wide range of topics. These included the 2015 migrant crisis, the ‘Calais Jungle’, European elections, the World Economic Forum, royal weddings, and Brexit.
In 2018, Rosanna joined the Financial Times’ in-house production studio, Alpha Grid, leading shoots in Europe, Asia, and the US.
Rosanna moved to Hong Kong with Reuters in 2022 to work as the Lead Producer for the region’s Global Digital Features Team working on explainers and special reports on current affairs for agency clients and Reuters’ own digital and social channels.
Rosanna was born in the Netherlands and grew up in Munich, Germany. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and received a master’s degree in international journalism at City, University of London.
