











Richa Naik is the Executive Producer of VOD Streaming at CNN. She leads a team of video producers, shooters and editors to develop and execute compelling VOD content for CNN’s forthcoming direct-to-consumer streaming platform.
Naik previously spent a decade at CNN, beginning as a production assistant on “Amanpour” before joining the digital video team to cover business and technology. She rejoins CNN from The Wall Street Journal, where she served as Executive Producer of The Wall Street Journal’s YouTube and off-platform teams. There, Naik led a group of video journalists and set the editorial and creative vision for their YouTube presence.
Previously, she was a digital video producer at CNN with a focus in business news. Naik covered technology, retail, misinformation, and the economy. She also helped launch and was the lead producer of CNN Business’s “Risk Takers” series. Naik has produced interviews with some of the biggest names in business including JPMorgan Chase’s Jamie Dimon, Google’s Sundar Pichai, and Uber’s Dara Khosrowshahi.
She covered the 2016 Presidential Election, shooting and producing videos about the intersection of politics and economy for swing state voters. Naik has been nominated for three Emmy Awards for her reporting on the General Motors ignition switch recall and coverage of misinformation and conspiracy theories.
Naik is a graduate of New York University and holds degrees in economics and politics. She is based in CNN’s New York bureau.
