



Paul Glader is senior editor for CNN Business, overseeing coverage of public companies including technology, retail, food and other sectors.
Before joining CNN, Glader spent a decade in academia and non-profit leadership — including roles teaching business journalism as at Columbia Journalism School in 2018, directing the business reporting program for the Dow Jones News Fund and building a news tech product funded by Knight Foundation.
Glader started his journalism career as a staff writer at The Wall Street Journal, where he covered global metals and mining, technology and GE between 2001 and 2011. He also wrote features across the Journal on topics including extreme sports and youth culture. He’s since reported for numerous outlets such as The Washington Post, Bloomberg BusinessWeek and Forbes.com. He co-founded the non-profit news outlet ReligionUnplugged.com, where he wrote and edited in-depth features that won awards from Editor & Publisher, Religion News Association and SABEW.
Glader has a bachelor’s in political science from the University of South Dakota, a master’s from Columbia as a Knight-Bagehot Fellow and an executive MBA from Steinbeis University in Germany.
