Nina Avramova is a Producer on the Video Programming team, based at CNN’s Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong.
Avramova produces breaking news videos and works on daily as well as long-term video strategy for the network’s various platforms and social media accounts.
Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Avramova was based at CNN’s London bureau, where she shot and edited news and feature videos, produced podcasts, wrote articles and news-gathered for the international desk.
She has covered numerous breaking news stories, from US and global elections to the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas wars. As a trilingual journalist, fluent in German, Bulgarian and English, she has also reported on European current affairs.
Avramova joined CNN in 2018 as a health and science writer. She holds a journalism degree from London’s City University.
