He joined CNN in Atlanta in 2011 and has held a variety of roles at the network including producer, video journalist and researcher. He’s especially proud of spearheading the launch of CNN’s PM Plug-In newsletter in 2023.
Rehbein has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Shepherd University in West Virginia, a master’s degree in English from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and studied data journalism at Columbia University in New York City.
He was born in Horseheads, New York, and grew up mostly in southern Pennsylvania. He lives for time with his family and enjoys clear, concise writing that tells us what’s going on.
