Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Manveena was based out of CNN’s Delhi bureau, working as a desk and field producer since 2017.
She has worked on numerous breaking news stories, including the start of, and ongoing coverage, of the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Gaza war, the latter of which she won an Emmy for Breaking News Coverage alongside her colleagues.
Prior to joining CNN, Manveena has worked for CNBC Africa, Bloomberg Africa and Al Jazeera English. She holds a journalism degree from London’s University of Westminster.
