Kimberly Johnson produces video news segments for CNN Right Now with Brianna Keilar, with an added emphasis on content for digital and social platforms.

With a keen eye for great video and possessing strong news judgment, she creates compelling news segments for top stories and breaking news coverage. Johnson previously worked on CNN Newsroom with Poppy Harlow and Jim Sciutto and CNN New Day Weekend with Christi Paul and Victor Blackwell.

Johnson joined CNN in 2017 on the CNN Digital Video Programming Team, producing video stories and leading video programming on desktop, mobile, OTT and YouTube.

Prior to joining CNN, Johnson was a TV/Digital Producer at FOX 5 News Atlanta. She produces meaningful and engaging stories and relies on instinct and performance analytics to package her content for the right audience.

Johnson is a proud University of Georgia Bulldog with a B.A. in Digital and Broadcast Journalism.
