Josie Wong is a Senior Producer for CNN’s Digital Video Programming team, based in its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong. She oversees daily news production and helps shape digital video programming strategies under the network’s follow-the-sun model.
Wong joined CNN in 2025 to build the digital video team in Hong Kong, expanding the network’s digital video presence in APAC.
Before joining CNN, Wong reported from Hong Kong, Japan, Washington, D.C., and New York. She served as a documentary producer for Bloomberg Originals in New York, focusing on technology, business, and U.S. elections.
Earlier in her career, she worked with Bloomberg’s Asia team, producing content on markets, finance, and industry leaders. In 2019, she spearheaded Bloomberg’s digital coverage of the Hong Kong protests, a project that earned her team a New York Press Club Award. Her journalism experience also includes roles at the Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, and TVB Pearl.
