














Ivana Scatola is a Supervising Producer for CNN. She is based in Doha, Qatar, and is a member of the CNN Creators team – a multi-platform programming initiative which explores conversations capturing the zeitgeist – with a focus on stories about health, culture, trending topics and travel.
Prior to this, Scatola was on CNN’s digital video team in London, producing, editing and presenting videos on international news featured on CNN’s digital platforms.
Before joining CNN, Scatola was a producer at the BBC World Service, piloting the organisation’s Instagram Reels offerings and working with multiple language services and bureaus all over the world.
Scatola started her journalism career at France24 in Paris where she worked as a news reporter, presenting international news stories ranging from the Strasbourg December 2018 terror attack to France’s 2018 World Cup win.
Scatola completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Bristol and her Master’s at City St George’s, University of London.
She is fluent in French and Italian.
