Henry T. Casey is a writer for CNN Underscored covering electronics. He reviews hardware and accessories to help CNN Underscored audiences make the right purchases for their needs.

Prior to joining CNN, Casey worked at consumer technology website Tom’s Guide, where he joined as a staff writer in 2015 and worked his way up to Managing Editor in 2023. There, he led the coverage of streaming and contributed to coverage on laptops, tablets, and e-readers.

Apart from his reporting on computing, mobile, gaming and audio, Casey is very passionate about streaming media. He’s reviewed nearly every streaming device in the market.

A lifelong New Yorker, Casey was born in, and currently resides in, lower Manhattan. He holds a bachelor’s degree in literature from Bard College.
