Emily Riley is staff product manager for CNN. In this role she leads a cross-functional product team focused on elections, data visualizations, and capabilities that deliver the best experience for CNN users.

Prior to CNN, Riley was a senior product manager at Politico. There she worked on the growth of Politico Playbook, the expansion of the subscription service, Politico Pro, and female empowerment platform, Women Rule. Riley began her career in product at ACT, Inc. as a product manager for higher education, leading the team responsible for enrollment management services.

Riley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Iowa.
