Emily Atkinson is the Executive Producer of ‘The Arena with Kasie Hunt’, which airs weekdays at 4pm ET. Atkinson has been with CNN for more than 25 years, and has previously served as Executive Producer of The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, as well as held roles including Senior Broadcast Producer, Associate Producer, and writer for the show. She began her career at CNN as an editorial producer in the network’s guest booking department before becoming a senior booker for several different shows, including the network’s morning show. Atkinson is a graduate of Wellesley College.
