Currently, Renjifo produces Marketplace Africa, hosted by Zain Asher, CNN’s premiere African business program covering key trends on the continent. Prior to Africa, he covered emerging market news for CNN en Español for six years, and in 2017 produced the network’s flagship business program, “Fuerza en Movimiento,” traveling across the Latin American continent.
Renjifo’s experience of more than 15 years with CNN includes primetime broadcast productions for CNN en Español, and studio, camera, and JIB operations for CNN, CNN International, and HLN networks.
Bilingual and with a multicultural background, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from Universidad Autónoma de Occidente in Cali, Colombia.
