Ben Morse is a digital producer for CNN Sports, based at the network’s London bureau.
Morse covers a variety of sports for CNN’s digital platforms, with his primary focus being the NFL. He writes a weekly review during the season and has produced human interest profiles composed of interviews with players – past and present – from the league.
He has played a key role in CNN’s digital coverage of the Super Bowl over recent years, as well as reporting on other global sporting events including Olympic Games and FIFA World Cups.
Morse finished in the final five in the Young Reporter Writing category at the AIPS’ Sports Media Awards in 2020, and was part of the CNN Sports team to win back-to-back Digital Publisher awards at the SJA British Sports Journalism Awards.
Morse graduated with a degree in Ancient History and Archaeology from the University of Nottingham as well as a masters in Sports Journalism from St Mary’s University. He joined the department as an intern on the TV side for World Sport in 2019 before moving across to the digital team a year later, first as an intern and then as a full-time member.
