
Ashley Nutter is Senior Vice President of Product & Design at CNN, where she leads the vision, strategy and execution for CNN’s digital experiences across platforms. She oversees cross-functional product, design and user experience research teams responsible for building compelling, user-first experiences that grow audience engagement.
Nutter is a seasoned Product executive with over 15 years of leadership experience in digital media, spanning consumer engagement, live video, mobile platforms, data products and advertising technology. Before joining CNN, she served as Senior Director of Twitch Ads & Sponsorship Products at Amazon, where she led the Twitch advertising business from early product discovery through scaled monetization. While at Amazon, she also led Twitch’s Content Data Products organization, overseeing a global team.
Prior to Amazon, Nutter was Head of Product Strategy for PlayStation Vue, the first streaming cable service in the U.S., where she defined product and go-to-market strategy, led subscriber growth initiatives, and negotiated major licensing deals to scale the service. She began her career in Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division for Technology, Media and Telecom.
Nutter holds a JD/MBA from Stanford University and a BA, summa cum laude, from Duke University. She is an advocate for inclusive leadership in tech and media. She lives in the Washington, D.C. area and remains passionate about building products that connect people with the information and communities that matter most.
