
Amanda Rottier is Senior Vice President and Head of Growth for CNN where she is responsible for growing the subscription business for CNN’s portfolio of digital products and services.
Rottier is an experienced product and business leader with over 15 years of experience working on subscription products within media companies. Most recently, Rottier was SVP and Head of Product at CNN where she oversaw digital product management and design and was responsible for the core digital experience across CNN.com, CNN mobile and CTV apps, and CNN underscored.
Prior to CNN, she was at The New York Times where she had full P&L responsibility and led the product and marketing teams for NYT Cooking. Most notably, she launched the NYT Cooking subscription business, growing the business to over 500,000 net new subscribers to The New York Times portfolio. Before that role, she worked in business development and strategy overseeing large strategic partnerships with Apple News and Facebook.
Prior to The New York Times, Rottier worked at S&P Platts (formerly McGraw-Hill) in London running the B2B publishing business for their metals commodity segment where she launched multiple new information products.
Rottier began her career in marketing at Congressional Quarterly Inc. and The Boston Globe. She holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and a B.S. in Communications and B.A. in International Relations from Boston University. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and two sons.
