Alejandra Jaramillo is a producer covering the White House for CNN. During the 2024 campaign, she served as a political producer for CNN’s Political Unit based in Washington, DC.
Prior to CNN, Jaramillo was a news producer at Univision network and an editorial producer for its streaming platform VIX. She brought its political show “Linea de Fuego” to life and worked as a field producer covering major breaking news events as well.
Before joining Univision, Jaramillo spent three years at NBC as a content producer and digital editor.
Jaramillo was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia. She studied Journalism and Media at The New School in New York City and is interested in different cultures, travel and creative expression.
