Michelle Cohan is a senior producer for CNN International’s Global Productions unit – the channel’s creative long-form team. She has more than a decade of experience crafting multiplatform content across various subjects including climate, culture, health, travel, innovation and more.

She currently produces the flagship environmental series, Call to Earth, which highlights stories of conservation, sustainability and the people working to protect the planet. She has previously produced for other series, including Going Green, The Next Frontier, Vital Signs with Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and African Voices Changemakers.

Cohan also served as a producer of CNN International’s monthly travel series, Business Traveller, which took her around the world in eight days.

Cohan joined CNN in 2011 as a field production intern in the Washington, DC bureau before serving as a news associate at CNN’s Atlanta headquarters. She then worked briefly as an associate producer for CNN International’s news shows before joining the long-form Global Productions team in 2014.

Cohan graduated magna cum laude from The George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations.
