Kara Fox has been with CNN International since 2016, breaking news and crafting features from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
As a 2023-2024 Ted Scripps Fellow of Environmental Journalism at CU Boulder, Fox expanded her knowledge of the climate crisis, researching the myriad ways in which climate change poses unique threats to women and girls.
Beginning her career, Fox worked as a photo editor at National Geographic Adventure Magazine and the World Picture Network in New York.
Fox studied at NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study where she concentrated in South Asian Studies and Photography. She also holds an MA in Digital Journalism from Goldsmiths University of London.
She is a currently a guest contributor at the Pulitzer Center’s Ocean Reporting Network.
