








Caitlin Hu is Director of News, Reporting for CNN’s International News Hub. In this role she directs international news coverage with a focus on the Americas from the network’s New York bureau.
A multi-award winning journalist, Hu was recognized with a 2025 Gracie Award for her field producing in Haiti amid its ongoing security crisis as well as a 2024 News and Documentary Emmy Award for her contribution to CNN’s coverage of the Israel-Hamas war. She is also the recipient of the Philip Meyer Award for investigative journalism.
A graduate of Wellesley College and Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, Hu is fluent in English, French and Italian. Before joining CNN, her editorial work was exhibited at the Venice Art Biennale, London Design Museum, and Paris Photo Festival.
