Jennifer Hansler is a reporter for CNN covering the State Department. She writes about the daily developments in US foreign policy and their implications. She has reported from more than a dozen countries, and regularly appears on-air on CNN.

She was previously a digital producer for CNN Politics, where she was covered domestic politics. Prior to CNN, Hansler worked at ABC News.

Hansler is an Ohio native, now living and working in Washington, D.C. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester.
