Beverly Chase is Vice President, Video Editorial for CNN Worldwide. An award-winning media executive with more than two decades of experience in the industry, she is pivotal in creating best-in-class video content for CNN’s products. Chase joined CNN from Rising Shed, a production studio she founded that specializes in impactful content across digital, documentary, and branded media. She has produced and edited hundreds of hours of television and film, spanning scripted and unscripted projects, feature and short-form documentaries, and branded content.

Previously, Chase served as the VP of Current Programming and Development for VICE News, leading a team in creating acclaimed feature documentaries and series. She produced across the newsmagazine series VICE on HBO, Investigations by VICE on Hulu, and served as executive producer and showrunner of VICE on Showtime. Chase was also executive producer of the Emmy Award–winning Return of the Taliban: A VICE Special Report, producer of Scream of My Blood: A Gogol Bordello Story, and executive producer of the Peabody Award–winning documentary Surviving Nova.

Prior to VICE, Chase spent more than a decade at NBC as an editor and producer, contributing to Nightly News, TODAY, Dateline, and Saturday Night Live, as well as serving as an Olympics feature editor in Torino, Vancouver, and Beijing. She collaborated on countless stories covering natural disasters, global crises, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Her work has earned six Primetime Emmy® nominations, 14 News & Documentary Emmy® Awards, three Peabodys, and two duPont Awards. Chase was also honored with a Gracie Award for Outstanding Nonfiction Showrunner from the Alliance for Women in Media. She is based in New York City.
