Bob Barker, the longtime host of the television game show "The Price Is Right," died at the age of 99, his representative Roger Neal confirmed to CNN on Saturday, August 26.
Barker retired in 2007, ending a long career in show business. He became a household name hosting the "The Price Is Right," which asks contestants to bid on retail items in the hopes of winning.
After his retirement, he made some guest appearances on his old show, now hosted by Drew Carey, and he continued to advocate for animal rights, a cause that was always close to his heart.
