Leicester City legend finds new role as a voice for change
Leicester City's iconic Premier League winning captain Wes Morgan believes that clubs should not be docked points if their fans are found to have committed racist abuse. Morgan, who is part of the league's Black Participants Advisory Group, was speaking to CNN's Senior Sports Analyst Darren Lewis when he said it would be more beneficial to identify those guilty of racist and discriminatory behavior and to "prosecute" the individuals concerned or give them "stadium bans" rather than penalizing clubs. Morgan did admit that more needed to be done to diversify management roles and boardroom positions in the league, but said he was pleased to see the Premier League launch a few programmes to address these issues.
