He’s just three months old, has a patriotic wardrobe and has amassed more than 280,000 followers on Instagram.

While swimmer Michael Phelps has been collecting medals at the Rio Olympics, his son Boomer has been stealing hearts.

Photos show the infant dressed in red, white and blue outfits, smiling, yawning and napping. He can’t talk yet, but in his photo captions, he’s full of cheers for his famous dad.

“Today’s a long day for daddy so I thought I’d catch a few extra zzz,” says one.

Thousands and thousands have commented on Boomer’s Instagram snaps: “So Adorable!” “So stylish and handsome!” they read.

Many posts show him dressed in patriotic outfits with stars and stripes, gold booties and a T-shirt reading, “Gold Medal Athlete.”

It was just a little over three months ago that Phelps and his fiancée, Nicole Johnson, welcomed the birth of their son. The proud father made the announcement on social media.

“Born 5-5-16 at 7:21 pm!!! Healthy and happy!” Phelps posted at that time. “Best feeling I have ever felt in my life!”

The most decorated Olympian ever has since posted pictures with his son, saying “It truly is just the best… The feeling of the little guy relaxed and sound asleep on my chest!

Phelps and Johnson, a former Miss California, announced their engagement on their Twitter and Instagram accounts in February 2015. They’re expected to tie the knot after the Rio Olympics, but there’s been no official announcement so far.
