  • Royal brothers visit Pinewood Studios set of "Star Wars: Episode VIII"

(CNN)It's not just us commoners who geek out over Star Wars. Apparently the royals, do, too.

Britain's Prince Harry and his brother William, the Duke of Cambridge, visited the Pinewood Studios set of "Star Wars: Episode VIII" on Tuesday.
They dueled with light sabers, chatted up Luke Skywalker (in the form of actor Mark Hamill) and BB-8 the droid. And Harry got a hug from none other than Chewbacca himself.
The Daily Mail newspaper reported William acknowledged he was a "total geek" as far as Star Wars is concerned.
He took time out to study the fine detail in some of the costumes and props used for the film.
'You should be really proud. They are amazing," the newspaper quoted him as telling one worker.
Kensington Palace tweeted that the visit was meant to pay homage to the "wealth of British creative talent involved in producing the @starwars films."
The latest installment of the Star Wars saga, "Episode VIII," is being filmed outside London at Pinewood, as was "The Force Awakens," which came out in December. "Rogue One," another film set in the Star Wars universe but off to the side of the main storyline, also filmed at Pinewood and will come out later this year.
