    London (CNN)He's known for his Head and Shoulders shampoo adverts -- so who better than Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart to cast an eye over some legendary soccer hairstyles?

    In an exclusive interview on the set of a photoshoot for a magazine, CNN Sport's Amanda Davies caught up with Hart, who -- after he had put a stop to a cheesecake inferno with a fire extinguisher -- offered his assessment of styles sported by stars including David Beckham and Carlos Valderrama.

    From the majestic mullets favored by Chris Waddle and Glenn Hoddle in the 1980s to the Rodrigo Palacio rat-tail of today, questionable haircuts have long been part of the landscape of the beautiful game.
