Restaurant cancels Christian group event
A Virginia restaurant canceled a Christian group's reservation, citing the "dignity and safety" of its LGBTQ employees. "Americans want to know that we live in a place that protects freedom and their religious views," says Victoria Cobb, President of the Family Foundation of Virginia, "but not a place where waitstaff can say, 'I am bigoted, intolerant of other people who simply believe differently, so I won't put food on the table.'"
