Formula One great Mario Andretti has told the Italian people to try to “stay positive” during the coronavirus pandemic.

The American-Italian, 80, who now lives in the United States, is one of two drivers to have won races in Formula One, IndyCar, World Sportscar Championship, and NASCAR.

Covid-19 has killed at least 146,000 people worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University, with Italy among the countries suffering the most.
