A train and a minibus collided at a railway crossing near the northern Ukraine village of Vyry on Tuesday afternoon, killing 12 people and injuring five, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said.

The crash happened at about 3:35 p.m. near Vyry, about 25 kilometers south of Ukraine’s border with Russia.

Further details about the crash weren’t immediately available. The State Emergency Service said it was investigating the crash.
