Unbeaten Roma slipped five points behind Serie A leaders Juventus after being held to a 2-2 draw by AC Milan in the San Siro Monday.
The visitors – who welcomed back Francesco Totti after a two-month absence – twice led but were pegged back each time – with Sulley Muntari ultimately earning Milan a point with his 77th minute goal.
The result leaves the Rossoneri in an uncustomary 10th place in the Italian standings – fully 24 points behind Juve after 16 rounds.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri has seen Milan win just four Serie A games all season but his side have made the last 16 of the Champions League, where they will face Spain’s Atletico Madrid.
Yet another draw, their fifth in the last six games of the campaign, has also held up Roma’s challenge at the top.
Roma had the better of play throughout and led through Mattia Destro after 15 minutes after being set up by Kevin Strootman.
Milan offered little until leveling from a corner on the half hour with Cristian Zapata scoring after Muntari’s initial header.
Roma almost took the lead again within a minute only for Michael Bradley’s effort to bounce off the line and clear.

Home goalkeeper Christian Abbiati was replaced at halftime by substitute Gabriel, who promptly conceded a penalty when he fouled Gervinho.
Strootman put away the spot kick and Roma looked set for three points until Mario Balotelli set up Muntari for the second equalizer.
Balotelli has a chance to win it for Milan but shot wide of the target.
Juventus, inspired by a Carlos Tevez hat-trick, secured an eighth straight league win Sunday with a 4-0 victory over Sassuolo.
