Montana gained a US House seat after the 2020 census, going from one seat to two, and both of the new districts favor Republicans in November. Current at-large Rep. Matt Rosendale is seeking reelection in the 2nd District and former US Interior Secretary and onetime Montana congressman Ryan Zinke is running in the 1st District.
