Pauline Lockwood is a Senior News Editor for CNN, based at the network’s Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong. She oversees the International Desk’s daily priorities as well as manages logistics and field teams on breaking news stories.

Before joining CNN, Lockwood worked as a producer both in the newsroom and in the field for British broadcasters including Channel 4 News, Sky News and the BBC, as well as international news outlets Al Jazeera and TRT World. She has covered key elections in the U.S., the Brexit vote in Britain, and has deployed to breaking news stories such as the Charlie Hebdo and Bataclan terror attacks in France, the Amatrice earthquake in Italy and the Grenfell Tower fire in London. She spent most of 2016 covering the migration crisis in Europe from the shores of Greece following the trail through Europe to Germany, France and Sweden.

Lockwood completed a BA in War Studies and History at the University of King’s College London and is fluent in French.
