Natalie Gallón is CNN’s Mexico City Field Producer.

Previously, she was a producer of International Newsgathering at CNN International, responsible for international editorial content and for managing the relationships between CNN’s television platforms, digital team and international bureaus, correspondents, producers and freelancers.

Appointed to the role in early 2017, Gallón worked on numerous high-profile stories for CNN, including political unrest in Venezuela; Colombia’s peace deal with FARC rebels; arrests and kidnappings by Mexico’s drug cartels; terror attacks in London, Manchester and Nice; North Korea’s missile tests and destruction in Haiti following Hurricane Matthew.

She also contributed to CNN’s Peabody Award winning coverage of conflicts in Iraq and Syria, specifically “ISIS in Iraq and Syria,” “Undercover in Syria” and “Battle for Mosul.”

Gallón served as a field producer for CNN in Mexico City during the 2016 US Presidential Election with correspondent Ed Lavandera. In this role, she oversaw the bureau’s operations staff within the region, developing CNN’s editorial coverage strategy for Latin America’s reaction to the election.

Gallón joined CNN as a Satellite Operator in 2013. In this role, Gallón worked at CNN’s London bureau for six months, collaborating with international show teams, editors, correspondents and producers to ensure accuracy and punctuality of satellite and fiber transmissions for all CNN platforms.

Gallón is fluent in English, French and Spanish and reports for CNN en Español and CNN International.

She is a graduate of the Georgia State University, College of Arts & Sciences and the Institute Catholique de Paris in Paris, France.
