Kendall Trammell is a senior producer on the global digital programming team at CNN. Trammell leads weekend programming on CNN Digital, creating engaging and informative frames into the day’s top news through the alerts and headlines that appear on CNN’s desktop and mobile homepages. Trammell coordinates with content teams to plan for coverage and also has written about some of the biggest pop culture conversations and news events.

Trammell guided the digital programming team through some of 2020’s most pivotal moments, such as the aftermath of George Floyd’s death and the protests that followed to the global response to the Covid-19 pandemic to the deaths of icons like John Lewis and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Her background in breaking news, audience development and content strategy contributed to CNN’s audience records, including reaching record highs on mobile platforms. She was also a part of a collaborative team to launch CNN’s first entertainment newsletter Pop Life Chronicles.

Trammell, a University of Georgia graduate, joined CNN from Cox Media Group, where she developed and implemented the cross-platform video distribution strategy for Rare.us and other sites under the Fans 1st Media division, a subset of national digital brands. She also produced, shot and edited enterprise multimedia stories.
