She was based in Arizona for the 2022 midterms, where she reported on the US Senate election and statewide races.
Sullivan previously covered the White House for CNN as a digital reporter, where she wrote about domestic and foreign policy.
During the 2020 presidential election, she covered the wide Democratic primary field as well as the general election amid the coronavirus pandemic. Before joining the campaign team, Sullivan was a breaking news reporter in DC and spent time on Capitol Hill covering Congress.
A graduate of Georgetown University, she majored in government and studied Arabic and Chinese. She is fluent in Spanish and grew up in Tokyo, Mexico City and London.
