Donald (DJ) Judd is a White House producer. Most recently, he was a video producer and traveled to 26 states while covering the 2020 presidential election, including Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s campaign, the Iowa Caucuses, and President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign.

Judd joined the CNN Political Unit to cover the 2018 midterm elections. He previously served as a desk editor for politics on the newsgathering team for CNN’s Washington news desk. Before CNN, Judd spent five years at CBS News, where he covered the 2016 presidential election with the CBS Political Unit and worked as a researcher at the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley.

Born and raised in New York, New York, Judd attended Princeton University in New Jersey, where he studied American Politics and Environmental Studies. He is conversational in Mandarin Chinese and volunteered with the Beijing Volunteer Association during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
