Bijan Hosseini currently works as a producer for CNN International Productions in Abu Dhabi, producing half-hour feature show, tv segments and digital stories from around the Middle East. Prior to joining the team, Bijan served as a newsdesk researcher for CNN International at CNN headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. During his time on the international desk he contributed to breaking news, feature stories and digital writes for CNN.

Hosseini graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a double major in broadcast journalism and international security studies with a focus in the Middle East. During his time at OU, Hosseini studied abroad in Turkey, Israel and the West Bank. Hosseini also held a research position with the American Terrorism Study and a position at KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City. Hosseini was selected as a Fulbright National Geographic Digital Storytelling semi-finalist in 2016.

Hosseini’s reporting has previously been featured on ABC, NBC, Fox News, Buzzfeed and Mashable.
