Bethany Hines is a producer at CNN Special Projects based in New York.

She got her start in journalism at KAIT in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Hines joined CNN in 2012 and worked on a variety of shows including Morning Express with Robin Meade, Dr. Drew On Call, Raising America with Kyra Phillips and HLN After Dark with Vinnie Politan.

Hines earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communications from Arkansas State University. In addition to her love for journalism, Bethany is passionate about music. She’s sang in bands in Atlanta and New York.
